Gig East Summit
The history of Gig East traces back to 2016. In November 2016, Greenlight Community Broadband sponsored its first Gig East thought-leadership event featuring Blair Levin, known for serving at the FCC as Executive Director of the country’s first national broadband plan. Since then, we have continued conversations focused on technology, innovation, broadband, modern work, and rural America with our annual Gig East Summit. Dates for this year’s Summit are in the works, so in the meantime take a look at 2020’s virtual Summit.
The Gig East Exchange is a dynamic, vibrant coworking space born out of the mission and vision of Gig East. Located in Historic Downtown Wilson, the Exchange features colorful artwork by local artists, first-class coffee by Larema Coffee House, and high-speed internet from Greenlight Community Broadband.
At the Exchange, entrepreneurs and small businesses have space and resources to grow. We offer multiple membership options and office spaces of varying sizes. The Exchange community is friendly and supportive, and our facilities are cleaned daily so that all you have to worry about is accomplishing your goals.
Gig East connects you to local, state, and national thought leaders from a variety of industries. Our network of partners brings a wealth of experience and resources to our community. Interested in becoming a Gig East partner? Give us a call, we’d love to chat with you.
